Crafty Alane’s Sneak Peak of
Crafty Alane started over 2 years ago, and I never imagined that I would get the invite of a lifetime!!!
Yes, I was invited to a sneak peak of IKEA Jacksonville just this past week. They officially open doors on Wednesday November 8, 2017 and they expect and lines to start on Monday.
This tour took over 3 hours to walk through the full building and warehouse area. This is my first time going to an IKEA, and I must say I was definitely impressed. My sister joined me for the event and she was just as excited as I was.
The event started a 9am with mingling of publications, bloggers, and news reporters. Next, we started with a Swedish breakfast which was delicious
We then are broken into groups and take on the official tour
This is my tour guide
These are the kids area, located in the front of the store. The children can stay in the area for an 1hr-1hr 30 minutes. Its gives you sometime to take a look in the store with a clear head.
Here are few facts on the Swedish Store IKEA.
- This is the 46th store opening in the US and fifth in Florida.
- They have studied hundred of families in many different countries to create a variety of style options for the home in the store.
- Products are environmentally friendly materials, netting, scrap wood pieces all to reduce waste.
- They thought of everything when designing the showrooms and offering the wants and needs of the customer.
Here are few highlights of the day…
I am so pleased and humbled to have been invited to this event. My husband is still hearing how happy I was to just be invited. If you are in Jacksonville or are visiting soon, come by and check out the store.
Til the next time…..Happy Reading!!!!by
